CHESS CLUB
The main objective of this program is to use chess as a tool to improve your child’s self confidence, imagination, concentration and intuition, while developing logical, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.

Kids use their own judgement to make decisions. During the game. they are focused. Chess requires some understanding of logical strategy. It encourages children to be inventive. Teaches the capability to predict and foresee consequences of actions. It encourages the search for the best move, the best plan. And that success has big rewards.

1 in person tournament each 45 days
Challenges between locations.
One hour chess classes with trained coaches, master-crafted chess books, and fun environment. Registration includes materials, online play, Friday Night Zoom practice games (7:30 PM), and bi monthly in-person tournaments.
THE CLASS
Chess levels
Description
Level 1:
5 to 6 years old
Kids will be introduced to the pieces : pawn, rock and bishop. The program will give them effective and appropriate tools to make them understand how to move those pieces and how they interrelate in order to maintain positions.
Level 2:
7 to 8 years old
Kids will be introduced to the queen, horse and king. They will learn how to move those pieces and how the big picture looks with all the pieces.
Level 3:
8 to 10 years old
Kids will develop strategies to create positions on the board. This level is for advanced students.
Level 4 to 6:
These are
advence levels
Kids will plan completed strategies and develop the game.
The course follows a project-task approach, and has appropriate activities according to the student's
age and level !
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM - CHESS CLUBS
The program is available Mondays to Saturdays

THE CHESS COACH
Julian Banos
Economist. MBA Marketing. University professor. Being a father he discovered his passion for teaching children. After ten years studying the chess program ,and seeing how important it is in the development of the children, he decided to start the program in the US. ChessArt started in 2005 and now has more than 250 students.
